BM. How the current situation of the country is affecting the business?
Ans: As the whole world is passing through economic recession but here we have double games going on in the country. Firstly, there is no proper polices to overcome it and secondly war going against terrorism totally affecting the business very much.

BM. Would you kindly pinpoint the hurdles and bottlenecks in the development of your sector?
Ans: Yes there were a lot, initially there was no proper market for the Sharp and people were not fully aware of the Sharp products. Slowly and steadily we make a proper room for our products as per requirement. I would hail the period of Retd. General Pervaiz Masharuf in which significant decisions have been made and it was the boom period between 2003-07.

BM. Your company has leading and well-known products in the country. What is your company's background?
Ans: Basically I am not a businessman. The thing is that my father was in army. After doing my intermediate I tried to attach to my job and rest of the education I acquired at evening classes. Initially I had not a regular business rather relaying on jobs. I, then, gradually determined to establish a business like Sharp on minor level. Today, by the grace of Allah I have my name with the name of Sharp.

BM. How did you cope up prevailing situation while being in your business?
Ans: Actually I believe in honesty and faith and I never broke my promise whatever the circumstance were. Secondly I don't believe in sub-standard products. Naturally I don't want someone to pick holes in my products. You know, this led me to successful business.

BM. What are the root causes of declining impression in the international markets, for the Pakistan products, can we ascribe it to adulteration, unoriginal products, low quality or quantity and how these malpractices can be prevailed over?
Ans: We, therefore, have multi reasons for the declination of the economy in Pakistan. Firstly, that any government has not been able to overcome the unemployment, which causes many crimes, in the county. Secondly, we don't constitute long-term policies in order to make success and tranquility in business. Thirdly recent war against terrorism ca used the more declination of economy.

BM. Would you kindly shed the light on your future plans, in strengthening and advancing your business?
Ans: Let me tell you first, the Sharp comprises the three sections. First one is Home appliances, audio-video and office equipments. As we already dealing in office equipments and audio-video but as per requirement we are supposed to deal in home appliances, which currently is a particular need of the public.

BM. What message would you like to give to our readers, businessmen, educated and professionals of our country?
Ans: I would humbly request the lower, middle class business community and the youth of this country to be fair in their dealing as much as possible.  mawaiz.khan@businessmonitorpk.com
