Give
me a chance, I will do it next month, the prevailing situation is the real
hurdle to tackle our missions and it's an uphill task. Excuses, like these
are as a bad man blames his tools. Well thing time has come that the tools
will decide which person has capacity to operate them.
The new change in oil prices is no more becoming the subject of pleasure for
traders and as well as for the consumers. The upper level administration has
decided to take no prompt step in this context rather to keep the oil prices
same level till July apart from 2.5 pc reduction in petroleum prices. The
situation is perplexing one's mind why and how this happened, as the prices
were cut off for a long time in a particular scenario.
You don't think so that 2.5 pc reduction in oil prices is just like a piece
of cake divided among the hundred people. The directions of Supreme Court of
Pakistan, which has asked the government to provide relief to the consumers.
The government didn't go in favour of the public and requested the Supreme
Court of Pakistan that the government is facing external and internal
threats, additionally in this prevailing circumstances it needs relaxation
to be pondering over it. It was pledged by Shaukat Tareen that 10 pc
reduction in the prices will be implemented in the 1st week of July.
It's pertinent to note that the government is earring enormous profit over
POL products. The significant fall in oil prices has been witnessed in the
international market $40 to $50 but the government continued to carry out
the prices at the current level which is not a good news for the consumers.
Furthermore it has fueled resentment and a wave of disappointment among the
public.
Another noteworthy scenario is that Govt. has said that is using the
enormous profit over oil prices for the IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons).
It means, the profit has gone waste or into the hands of government as there
were no IDPs before 10 to 12 days. None was to asked what was before the
IDPs, isn't it a evasion before the Court.
As a result this prevailing situation is causing notoriety among the traders
and they termed it an insufficient for promoting the industry. Anjum Nisar
President KCCI has clearly stated that government should have to cut off the
oil prices by keeping in mind the significant fall in the international
market. Khalid Tawab the president of Pakistan Industrial Promotion Forum
has exclosed that the Govt should assist the manufacturing sector of
Pakistan while reducing 30 to 35 pc oil prices.
The thing is that our rulers from past to now don't accept this "don't put
off tomorrow what you can do today".
