Karachi - The 6th
Annual Environment Excellence Awards (AEEA) distribution ceremony will be
held at a local hotel on July 9, 2009, to honor 48 best environment friendly
companies of Pakistan.
National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH) is organizing award ceremony
where Federal Minister for Environment Hameedullah Jan Afridi, Sindh
Minister for Environment and Alternative Energy Askari Taqvi and City Nazim
Syed Mustafa Kamal will present the awards, which is supported by United
Nations Environment Program & Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce &
Industry.
The award has been instituted to recognize and promote the organizations,
which make an outstanding contribution to sustainable development. They aim
to highlight policies, practices, processes and products from all sectors of
business in the country, which help achieve economic and social development
without harming the environment and natural resources. according to 3
