KCCI
would be promoting Pakistani brands in Australia through multi-faceted
programmes having a combination of 'made in Pakistan' corridor, single
country
exhibitions
and a HR connect programme.
Rasheeduddin Rashid, Senior Vice President KCCI, stated in a meeting with
Syed Atiq-ul-Hassan, founding President of Pakistan Australian Federation (PAF)
that there is a substantial potential for Pakistani products in Australia
because of a large Pakistani community. KCCI would sponsor a single country
exhibition displaying the leading brands, also plans to cash an already
hyped event in Australia, the 'Chaand Raat Festival' with an exclusive
corridor of 'Made in Pakistan'. This Festival is held in Australia for the
last 12 years and enjoys prominent status in foreign communities.
Australia is huge market for skilled Human Resources which Pakistan could
provide. KCCI proposes that for meeting the standards of skill requirements,
Pakistan can have joint ventures with Australian training institutes.

cooperation. KCCI Managing Committee Members; Ateeq ur Rehman, Chairman
Banking & Insurance committee,Anis Ahmed Bhesania, Chairman Exhibition &
Fairs committee were also present in the meeting. |
