Business knowledge and skills are not the only
keys to success. To be successful, you also need to master the psychological
skills that will help you to be satisfied and fulfilled, and thus more
effective in your work.
Knowing how to manage your mind, and understanding how to deal with lack of
confidence, stress, anxiety, and depression, is as important as knowing how
to handle the strategic and organizational challenges of your business.
To
achieve success in today's highly competitive and constantly changing world
you have to learn to build up your confidence and be assertive.
You have to be able to put things in perspective so that you can counter
stress, depression, and anxiety. And most importantly, you have to manage
yourself so that you can manage your time.
Self-confidence is perhaps the most important, yet overlooked skill that you
must have for success in your personal and business life. If you lack
self-confidence, you will be apprehensive, frustrated, resentful, and
demoralised. In your behaviour, you will be passive, avoid taking
initiatives, and constantly seek reassurance. Lack of self-confidence can
hamper your professional career and your personal relationships.
The above mentioned prelude about the success in life and business is true
when it comes to S M Muneer.
S M Muneer is a multidimensional personality having success in personal life
and business.

Din Textiles, the entrepreneurs have strived to produce nearly 1000 shades
by mixing dyed cotton.
Personal Life & Struggle
S M Muneer belongs to Chiniot family and has 3 sons and two daughters. After
graduation he started his business career in 1964.
During the financial crisis in 1966 he had to sell his car and used to
travel by rickshaw, that was the time when he was seriously thinking of
doing some kind of a job, but he never gave up and kept on endeavouring
hard. His father advised him to set up his own business.
On his advice he initiated his business with just one small leather factory
on rent and then hired two another.
He used to work till late at night and used to test the quality of materials
himself.
His hard work at that time paid him off and he managed to earn a good name
in business and Allah has blessed him with every pleasure of life.
His brothers, three sons & four nephews joined him in business after
completing their studies.
Now they take care of the whole business. However, S M Muneer helps them
whenever any problem comes.
Muneer doesn't agree that unstable political conditions exist in Pakistan,
rather he was of the view that government is doing well for creating
conducive conditions for the business community.
He, however, agrees that the law and order is not perfect and it needed more
attention and efforts to resolve this issue.
Muneer always has been an ambassador for peace and love stresses on
government to chalk out a comprehensive policy as it is the foremost
necessity of the country.
Muneer is not very much satisfied with the Pakistan's industrial production
output and emphasised on the entrepreneurship in the field and asks
industrialists to come up with new technology and ideas. He fairly believes
that Pakistan doest have any competitive edge over China and India, as China
is an emerging giant and a very well developed country with India is second
in the race.
Muneer stresses business community to expedite their efforts and broaden
their vision to remain the competition. He reckoned that Pakistan's textile
industry is better than India but their engineering area is far ahead to
Pakistan.
Muneer expresses his satisfaction over the current education standard in
country and appreciated the government's efforts in this regard and urged to
follow the procedure of giving admissions on merit in educational
institutions. S M Muneer strongly believes in the rule of merit and says
that is should be applied to all institutions to motivate the generation and
make them believe in hard work not on wrong ways.
Being an active trader and a prominent representative of business community
he pressed out his annoyance over the current power shortfall as it badly
affecting the trading activities in the country and said that the wheel of
the industry can not be run in the proper way unless an ample and sufficient
power supply.
Sitara-e-Imtiaz
The ever-young-at-heart industrial stalwart who has dedicated his life to
the welfare of the under-privileged in particular and mankind in general is
at the helms of 'The Din Group' affairs.
Despite hectic life schedule, he still manages to take time out and play an
active role at prime business bodies in one way or the other. Muneer has a
visible instinct to be district -a passion that has helped him rise to all
heights. Government of Pakistan in return to his enormous services affixed
the Sitara-e-Imtiaz to his chest.

S M Muneer's actual date of birth is April 17, one day while talking to his
dear friend the idea came out to celebrate the birthday every month.

the idea and to date he celebrates his birthday on monthly basis. All his
friends celebrate and organise a party for his birthday every month. |
