BM. Your company is dealing in Packaging and printing as a leader in the same industry. Would you like to tell us how and when you started your journey?
Ans: Afeef started its journey as a packaging & printing firm which today stands as one of the leading organization in this industry. It was established under the patron gage / guidance of mine and broad vision spearheaded the company on a track which led to success and eventually to utmost satisfaction of the customers.
Afeef focuses on catering to specific needs of customers & clients and it is this commitment that gave birth to a group, which has a diversified work portfolio.
From Printing/Packaging to Construction and from Furniture / Fixtures to Trading, Afeef's business acumen is aimed at providing high quality products and services with the sole purpose of being customer's satisfaction. It is this spirit of serving that has equipped Afeef with an extremely high customer retention rate of 95.3%.
Afeef always strives for perfection in all spheres of its activities so that it can cater to the business needs of ties clientele more efficiently. BM. Your are having others group of companies for example construction, building, trading and so on. Please, mention out your branches and throw light on the others groups of your company?
Ans: As far as the branches are concerned, the main are in Karachi and Lahore. Others groups of our companies are Afeef Builders, Afeef Traders, Afeef Tiles and Beyond, Afeef Furniture, Afeef Printing and Afeef Varson Extractions. Afeef Builders, is a subsidiary of Afeef group that deals in construction and renovation of buildings. Afeef builders has the honor constructing the exclusive buildings of KFC in the major cities of Pakistan, Like Karachi,Lahore,Islamabad, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Hyderebad, Sialkot, Jhelum, Gujranwala and Muree. Afeef Trading deals with the import of furniture, building materials, generator, electronic items, Hardware items, tools and various types of gift items / giveaways. In addition to this, Afeef trading also Imports most of the materials needed by Afeef Packages. Varson Extractions (Pvt.) Limited is that part of Afeef Group which deals in extraction of edible oil. Varson imports various types of seeds like sunflower, canola etc, for oil extraction purposes. Tiles & Beyond, as the name suggests, deals in tiles and various other items, some of the items we deal in are various types of tiles, bathtubs, Jacuzzis, sauna baths, cubicles, shower panels, commodes, sanitary ware, floor/wall borders, Afeef's offset printing plant consists of latest multi-color offset printing machines supported by paper cutting machines, label cutting machines, automatic and manual die cutting machines, automatic gluing/pasting machines and a complete plate exposing unit.massage chairs etc. Afeef Furniture is another subsidiary of Afeef group that deals in all kinds of furniture for homes, offices and restaurants.

BM. What are the roots causes of declining impression in the international markets, for the Pakistani products; can we ascribe it to adulteration, unoriginal products, low quality or quantity, and how these malpractices can be prevailed over?
Ans: As far as my opinions are concerned I think Pakistan hasn't had bad impression of the world economic recession. The matter is not the low quality or quantity, policies like ours is not comprehensive and long term, which slightly and smoothly could benefit the business community. We have raised our slogans against the ongoing crisis in the country from the platform of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry but heed hasn't paid yet. Economic recession impacts are less observed here in Pakistan, but the crisis like power, water and gas shortage are the government own created crisis and are not solved sincerely and honestly. Karachi is the largest city, which shares a big amount of revenue but is under great consideration and speculation.

BM. Would you like to convey any message to professions and educated, especially for business community through Business Monitor?
Ans: I entirely believe in doing business in Pakistan and I recommend others to invest in Pakistan so that we could compare ourselves to advanced countries.
