Mohammad Irfan Shaikh joined the International Association of Lions Clubs in December 1992 as the Charter President of Karachi Galaxy Lions Club. Within a short span of time, he achieved tremendous success in his lionistic career. He and his wife enjoy the honour of being MJF (Melvin Jones Fellows), in fact they are among the few couples who hold this distinction in the District.

During 1992-93 his club was adjudged the "Best New Club" of the district under his presidency. Lion Mohammad Irfan Shaikh has been declared the "Best District Chairman" of the District (305-S) Pakistan for the year 1993-94. He was the District Governor for the year 2001-2002.

The various projects undertaken by Lion Mohammad Irfan Shaikh in the field of sports, education, medical services, cataract surgery & eye camps, social welfare (donation & ration distributions), community involvement & Public Relations and to provide services to the less fortunate, reflect the high quality of social leadership possessed by Lion Mohammad Irfan Shaikh. He is a recipient of "Gold Medals" from all the previous District Governors during his lionistic career.

Lion Mohammad Irfan Shaikh is also a recipient of "International President's Excellence Award" and number of awards and certificates from all the District Governors and Multiple Council Chairpersons during his lionistic career.

Lion Mohammad Irfan Shaikh is currently rendering his services to HinoPak Motors as Director Sales & Marketing. He has progressed tremendously from entry-level position to this prestigious post. He terms dedication and commitment two key elements for the success in life and himself is a practical example.
